ElectraSyn 2.0 Package
In a unique endeavor, IKA owner René Stiegelmann has partnered up with Professor Phil S. Baran of the world-renowned Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California (USA). Over the past three years, engineers and chemists have worked hand in hand to develop a product combining two divisions of chemistry communities: the Electrochemistry and the mainstream Synthetic Organic Chemistry Communities that traditionally don’t have much in common.
ElectraSyn 2.0 essentially combines three products in one and will facilitate the mass adoption of electrochemistry for preparative organic synthesis: a potentiostat, an analytical device and a stir plate. It is a compact, user friendly and cost effective platform for organic chemists to explore electrochemistry.
The ElectraSyn 2.0 Ready-To-Go package includes all that is required to for your first experiment. including a single 10 ml vial (complete), vial holder and a set of electrodes (graphite).
ElectraSyn 2.0 offers:
- standardization
- analytical capabilities
- modularity
- user-friendly interface
- stirring abilities
- future proofing
- industry-leading display
- aesthetic design
- connectivity
- ElectraSyn 2.0 app
- ease of transportation
Accessories are also available, including a carousel which enables six reactions in parallel, electrodes of various materials and sizes, and vials from 1 to 20 ml.
The IKA ElectraSyn App (available for both iPhone and Android) enables reaction and CV experiment monitoring, data transmitting, and various other functions. ElectraSyn is a device that improves over time through regular software updates.
